Review of The Facebook Viral Plugin (FVP)

“Tweet to download” or “Like to reveal” are both common marketing techniques used on blogs and websites these days. The basic idea is that the user is asked to share a message with their twitter followers or facebook fans, and they are then rewarded when some sort of download link or other hidden content is revealed to them. The concept isn’t new, but the process of making it work can be somewhat complicated if you aren’t a coder. There are several tutorials out there that explain how to do it, but to my knowledge I’ve never seen a WordPress plugin that makes it so simple. I’ve been given the opportunity to check out a review copy of the new...

Income Report November 2011 and the PA Affiliate Tax Law

At the start of each new month I try to break down my monthly income results for the previous month – including all affiliate results and Adsense income, as well as any other news from the previous month or highlights of upcoming events and opportunities. Each month these continue to be my most popular posts. You can view all of my past income reports here. Well although this blog wasn’t around last year and I didn’t start posting income reports until January 2011, my November of 2010 was a really down month.  December of 2010 was so so and then things picked back up really strong in January.  I don’t know if the Holidays make people lazy and they don’t click ads...

As most WordPress users have probably done at some point or another, I accidentally pressed “Publish” instead of “Save Draft”. Some time long ago I set something up that automatically tweets my new blog posts (I can’t even remember where I set it up – I think in Feedburner), so about 15 minutes later I noticed my mistake when I saw the new blog post come through on my Twitter feed. Oops! ...

I Just Bought 5 New Domain Names and It’s Time for a Fresh Start

I just bought 5 new domains and I plan on building 5 profitable adsense niche websites. It’s time to take some action and to be more accountable for the work that I do! In the past I’ve created a wide variety of niche sites.  I’ve created adsense sites.  I’ve created affiliate sites.  I’ve created sites geared specifically toward clickbank.  I’ve done backlinking on my own by writing articles and commenting on blogs and trading links.  I’ve paid people to write content for me on fiverr, mechanical turk, elance, iwriter, and more…  I’ve bought .com, .net, and .info domains.  I’ve paid for many different backlinking packages....
